Have you been to the Eagle Dollar Store on 24th Street, in the Kroger Plaza, next to Aco? It is an independently owned Dollar Store and the owners treat you like family from the moment that you walk in the door. They are always there to help you find exactly what you need!
Unfortunately, they will be closing sometime within the next three weeks to two months because they are not getting the business that they need to stay open. They told me that it was the economy driving them out of business.
Their store houses some things that the average dollar store has, but it also has some things that you can not find at other dollar stores. I usually find at least one thing that I need that I could not find at the chain dollar stores. It is a rare occasion that I leave there without a basket full of items. This is truly a sad thing that another small business is having to close in Port Huron Michigan.
Do you need small things for your home that you can usually find at a Dollar Store? If so, please visit Eagle Dollar Store and show them some support! If everyone in Port Huron went and bought just one dollar item, this store would be able to make enough to remain open and keep serving us with the outstanding service that they give and we would be able to save a small business in Port Huron.
Recently, when going there to buy some black dry erase markers for 50 cents each, I found that they already have Valentines and Easter Items waiting for us to purchase.
Let's stop supporting the large chain stores and show some Port Huron love to Eagle Dollar!

Smart person seeking a job in Port Huron Michigan
Currently working as a food delivery person because it seems that there are no jobs for an intelligent adult in Port Huron.
I have a GED and a certificate as a data processor/office specialist.
The past jobs that I have done are receptionist, assistant manager of a business along with apartments, bartender, bouncer, factory laborer and dispatcher. I even attempted to open my own cleaning business when I found out that the factory I was working at would be closing, but it did not work out with the economy the way it is.
I am looking for something on the day shift, Monday through Friday and possibly Saturdays. Full time or part time are both fine with me.
Please do not post comments with the newest online opportunity that you are in to or ask me to go sign up at some new recruiting site. I am looking for a real job in Port Huron Michigan with a legitimate company that wants someone who is willing to work hard and do the job right the first time.
Thank You
